About Nottingham Tourism

The East Midlands have plenty to offer visitors. Nottingham, with the old Market Square and its Robin Hood legacy; Derby, with its magnificent cathedral; and Leicester, with the beautiful St. Mary de Castro church, are all extremely popular with tourists and locals alike, and near to the East Midlands Airport (EMA).

While none of these towns and cities are considered to be particularly attractive architecturally, they all offer good facilities for visitors, including accommodation, restaurants and a varied nightlife. Nottingham itself now boasts a lively music scene, with the Nottingham Arena regularly hosting major concerts and seating almost 10,000 people. Many stunning modern landmarks and sporting venues are scattered around central Nottingham, such as the Trent Bridge cricket ground, the City Ground, the National Ice Centre and the National Water Sports Centre.
